May 3rd

Still struggling to get above the .500 mark, hopefully the 3rd will make itself a little greener.

1) Mickelson vs Bradley or tie
Mickelson has been hot of late, a 3rd place finish in the Masters and 4th at Shell Houston, Bradley on the other hand, has not, placing 27th in the Masters and missing the cut in Louisana.  Last year at Wells Fargo, Mickelson placed 9th and posted scores of: -2,-3,+2, and even on the back 9, and Bradley missed the cut shooting even and +2 on the back nine. I tend to like the tie option, especially in 9 hole props, but its really hard to pick against Mickelson, so I'll take him for (hopefully) a green.

2) Phillies vs Braves
Well it looks like SM is going to force me to pick a pair of baseball games, man I hate picking baseball, anyway, Braves seem pretty hot to start the year, and just beat Philadelphia in a thiller of a game.  The Phillies average a mere 3.3 runs per game.  Are you kidding me? While I'd prefer if Delgado hadn't gotten off to such a terrible start to the year, I'll take the Braves.

3) Marlins vs Giants
More baseball?? ugh.  Anyway, in what I'll assume is a Marlins win tonight, the Marlins have won a mere 4 road games, 2 of which were in this series, the other two were stealing a game from the Reds and the Phillies.  I'd be shocked if the lowly Marlins could complete a sweep, so I'll take the Giants.

4) Combined points of Shoe Thrower and Queen James
This prop is designed to make the streaker fall in love with ESPN's pre-Madonna's Shoe Thrower and Queen James.  So far Queen James has averaged 25 points, while Shoe Thrower has averaged 22, as well as .5 shoes thrown per game.  If the prop was Queen James points+flops+Shoe Thrower points+shoes thrown+times Queen James whines about a call, I would definitely pick the over, but since its just combined points, I'll take the under.

5) Points in the 3rd, 46-/47+
Tough one here, O/U is set at 184.5, which translates to 46.5 per quarter.  I'd prefer the under because I think that the Heat will play very tight defense in this game, and the 3rd quarter scoring tends to be low #bulls #juju'sstillupset #nottwitter  but I think it'll more depend on watching the game than anything.

6) Dirk vs Westbrook or tie
Westbrook averaged 23 points per game in the season, Dirk averaged 21.  While I don't see why Westbrook scores so much when he has the best player in the NBA on his team, I think he'll take a lot of shots in the first half.  So I'll take Westbrook.  Side note, did you notice I used Dirk's first name and Westbrook's last? Its cause I'm not 100% sure how to spell Nowaufjayeski and I prefer using last names.

7) 3's in the second half, Thunder or tie vs Mavericks

Mavericks average 7.5 threes in the regular season, and the Thunder average 5.5.  The main point of the matter is if Dallas wants to win, they'll need to hit threes, if the Thunder want to win, they'll need to get to the basket.  I'll take Dallas.
