1) Gary Woodland or tie vs Johnathan Byrd
The tie option always tends to win these 9 hole props. Gary Woodland has been ok of late. While he missed the cut at the players championship and withdrew from the masters. He placed 24th last weekend at HP Byron Nelson Championship. He didn't play in the PGA colonial last year. Byrd has placed in the top 15 in his last two tournaments, he also placed 27th at the Masters. I'll take the tie option and Woodland.
2) BK Hacken vs Elfsborg
This season Elfsborg has won 9 games and lost 2. Hacken is 6-2-3, but 2-1-2 on the road. Elfsborg has won every home game so far, against fairly good competition, the highest of which was the 4th place team, Hacken is 3rd. Hacken's road losses were to the 5th place team and the 9th place team. I think Elfsborg is a much stronger team and gets another home win.
3) UNC 2+ vs Miami (Fl) W/SDL
Either this one wasn't up when I wrote my blog last night or I didn't see it, sorry guys (and girls).
4) Dwayne Wade Pts+Ast or tie vs Hibbert Pts+Rbs
Wade averaged 22.1 ppg and 4.6 ast/game in the regular season. Hibbert averaged 12.8 pts/game and 8.8 rebounds/game. This seems to strongly favor Wade, as that would split to ~13.3 for Wade, and 10.8 for Hibbert. This series Hibbert has had (pts, rebounds), (17,11), (8,11), (19,18), (10,9), and (8,12), Wade has had (pts, ast), (29,4), (24,4), (5,1), (30,6), and (28,2). One would expect Hibbert to be in the mid-low teens for the prop, but outside of the third game, Wade's scoring seems like it will win him the prop, with a little bump from the assist column. One thing that is worrying is that Haslem and Anthony are out, but I think this will help West even more than Hibbert, and he will be the major benefactor. So I'll go Wade.
5) 22 or fewer vs 23 or more in the first 6 min of the 3rd.
While the game line is 182, putting this at 22.75 for 6 min of play, I think this goes over. One team has always come out hot in this series in the 3rd, and for this prop it doesn't matter which team it is. I'll take over, but this is fairly close to a toss up.
6) Angels vs Mariners
Haren might be extremely cold for the Angels right now, (1-5 on the season), but he's a very good pitcher who can turn things around in a hurry. Vargas is a decent pitcher and is pitching very good this season compared to normal, 3.34 ERA vs 4.41 Career ERA, but I think Haren gets his second win of the year against a poor Mariner ball club and the Angels start turning their season around.
