May 12th

Well that was a terrible day unable to make picks due to unforseen happenings.  Ah well, gotta keep pushing, try to get back on the leaderboard and back up the monthly ladder.

1) Chris Kirk or tie vs Sergio Garcia

I know I've gotten burned twice this month going against the tie option but I'm going to try it one more time here.  Sergio Garcia has shot even and -1 on the front 9 so far, Kirk has shot -1 and +2. It's a risk, but I think this prop falls to Garcia.

2) Duke 3+ vs AOR
I'll take Duke solely based on the line -150.  I can't claim I know anything about Lacrosse and a -150 favorite is reasonable enough.

3)Barcelona 3+ vs AOR.

This one is easy.  Barcelona has been mediocre at best per usual on the road this year (11-5-2).  They've drawn with the 13th, 14th and 16th place sides.  While Real Bettis is nothing to write home about, I think they can keep it within two.

4) Louisville 2+ vs Notre Dame 1- or Win
Always tough to take 2+ in a baseball/softball prop.  However, in big east play, Louisville won this prop in 15 of 22 games.  While I realize this is the Big East final, and the Cards have lost the Big East final the last two years, I think they come out hot and crush Notre Dame.

5) (If picked) Celtics WM vs 76ers 3 pointers or tie
I have no idea how long a softball game takes, probably 2-3 hours, so I'll take my chances on it getting done, and if not oh well.  The 76ers little run against the Bulls was cute, but they face a real team in the Celtics.  I don't see the Celtics losing game one, and they won 2 of the 3 times this prop would have happened on their home floor against Atlanta, who I think is much better than the 76ers.  Another note for the prop is the 76ers average only 3.3 threes per game.  I'll take the Celtics.

6) Denver 3PM or tie vs Lakers WM
The Lakers have looked poor at best the last 2 games against Denver.  They get Ron Artest, (I refuse to call him Metta World Peace, I mean come on, seriously?) back, but I worry that him getting thrown into the mix will just add to the frustration.  I think the Lakers have trouble outing the Nuggets, and might even lose this game.  Taking Denver.
