Let me announce: THE HUNT FOR JUAN! dun dun!
As of today I sit 8 back of Juan because of the stupid Rays. Seriously? You couldn't knock one run in?? Are you kidding? Thanks for all the hits in the 3-6 innings though. At the onset of the month, I made one of my goals to win Max Pickers. Juan is making this exceptionally difficult. Thus, I have decided that in the next 22? 21? Thirty days has September, April June, and November- 22! days left. I will beat Juan by 9 picks, thus assuring me not only the Max Picker crown, but also the monthly prize! Muhahaha! But seriously, Juan, excellent start to the month, I look forward to trying to catch you the rest of the month.
1) Jason Day or tie vs Ooostueneihagizen
Odds are even, and I'm looking at pretty even golfers. I'll take Jason Day for two reasons, first, with the tie option, he is the correct pick, especially coming off of a 9th place finish at Wells Fargo. Secondly, he's from Austrailia, though I do have some concern because he is used to playing upside down, and to my knowledge, this course is right side up. It is important to note that Oostneihgioahenizen will also have that problem, being from South Africa. To the SFTC noobs, please note (RSA) stands for Republic of South Africa, not Russia, I don't want to get in a mindless debate about a guys country of origin. But just look at Day, go ahead, click on his name, yea, he looks like a bad@ssss doesn't he? Now look at Oosdkljngqizen, yea he looks like he couldn't add 2+2 doesn't he? It's not night time in this prop, its Day.
2) Arsenal Kiev vs Kryvbas
For the second prop of the day the master of the streak, Streakmaster, sends us to Ukraine. Yes, we all knew Arsenal's showing against Norwich was poor, but who would've thought they would get relegated all the way to Ukraine??? I didn't even know that was possible! But in all seriousness, Arsenal Kiev should pull this one out. They have a very reasonable record on the road (6-4-4) and Kryvbas has nothing to really to play for. Though they do post a reasonable home record (5-2-7) I like Arsenal Kiev to take the W.
3) Will a golfer find water on 17th?
This one is easyyyyyyyyyyyy, making it my, "I guarantee you will win this prop if you follow my advice and if you don't then sorry about your streak, but I'm not going to do anything about it." The prop simply asks if someone from the group will find water on the 17th hole. DUHHHHH. I have looked up the 17th hole and guess what??? There's water on it! Therefore, unless a) the golfers are so focused they do not bother to look at the water. or b) All three golfers are blind, yes is an easyyy green! Note: even if the golfers are extremely focused, they may have a water bottle, which will still lead you to green!!!!
4)McDowell, Johnson, and Els, 8 or 9 vs Any other score?
Well ladies and gentleman, this prop is a toughie. (thats a word! or at least there's no read squiggle!) (No squiggle under squiggle either! Dang I'm good. but thats is wrong f*** apostrophes) (Spelled apostrophes right too!) (Hell yea exclamation mark time!) Oh there's a prop I'm supposed to comment on? My bad. Well quite simply I think there will be about as many strokes on this prop as I've put parenthesizes in this post.... Whoops.
5) Adam Scott on 17? 3 or any other score?
Adam Scott's a dangerous par three golfer. Upon looking at his player card, he got a hole in one in the Masters??? This guys good. The kind of good that makes you play the 17th hole safe. And get par.
6) 76ers vs Bulls
So in Game 5, the Bulls came out and they were like hey! Don't forget about us, we're still a good team you know! Even without Noah. And then...wait, what team is playing the sixers? I forgot, well if I can't remember you should probably take the 76ers.
7) Lakers vs Nuggets
The Nuggets might have come up with a gold nugget in game 5 (boooooo bad jokeee) seriously, who is the guy that writes these? You'd think he could come up with some useful information instead of all these crappy posts. Oh you want information? OK! Lakers 15-18 on the road this season, Denver 20-13 at home. Denver won the home regular season meeting between these two and is 1-1 at home in the series. The Nuggets shot exceptionally better than the Lakers in game 5. (45% to 38%) which accounts for the score difference, minus Kobe's late game heroics. I'll take the Lakers because I think they come out in game 6 with a chip on their shoulder and take care of business.
Side note: Despite my joke posts, all are correct, except I'm really taking no water, and any other score for Scott.
