Well a good run in May, I'll finish somewhere around 43rd place for monthly, I'm writing this before the conclusion of the Az St/Oregon game, I'm in 43rd before that ends.
1) Rickie Fowler or tie vs Bubba Watson
In Rickie Fowler's last 3 tournaments, he has placed in the top 5. Watson is also a very good golfer, he most recently won the Masters, but has been doing pretty well outside of that placing 4th in the Arnold Palmer invitational and 2nd at the World Golf Championships. The players will be on the back nine to start where Fowler went -1 and Watson went +4. I don't think Fowler has a guaranteed win in this prop, but with Watson struggling on the back nine in round 1 and Fowler getting the tie option, I think Rickie gets the green.
2) Els total on 12 and 15? 8 vs AOS
In round 1 Els scored a combined 9 on these two holes, bogeying the 15th and paring the 12th. Last year in this tournament AOS won 3 of the 4 rounds, in 2010 he didn't make the cut and the results were split 1-1. 2009 he again split the holes going 2-2. 12 seems to be a very difficult hole with the average score around 3.3, while 15 seems to play easier at about 4.7. Els does seem to do poorly on 15, he's gotten a bogey in at least 1 round each of the last 3 times at Memorial, but then does surprisingly well on 12 with only one bogey in the last 3 years there. I don't know pin locations at this time, but I would lean AOS.
3)Russia W/D vs Italy
The Italians haven't been very convincing in friendlys losing to the US and Uruguay in their last 2. Russia on the other hand drew both Uruguay and Lithuania in their last 2. In the scoreless Lithuania game, the Russians had 69% possession. Not sure if I'm going to go with this or AOS in the golf prop in this time slot, but if I take this, I'll definitely take the Russian side.
